After the Sint leaves the boat, he gets on his horse and rides over to City Hall. We walk over to City Hall as well, but as it is pretty crowded, we take a different route. Along the way, one of my nephews, Bram ( with the glasses) and Meg get cookies from a Zwarte Piet passing by. The cookies are in the jute bag that Piet is holding.
A Zwarte Pieten band ( a very rock and rolly one, I might add) is set up across from City Hall.
